Is there a call out fee to get a plumber out?
There is no call out fee at all; the visit and the written quote both cost you $0, so a plumber can look over the problem and price it without charging you for turning up.
How does the fixed price actually work?
Your plumber assesses the job in front of you, then hands over one set price in writing before any work starts. That agreed sum is the total you settle, whether the job turns out to run long or short.
Do nights and weekends cost any more?
